Dream 909 – Nearly Dead Plants are Brought to Life

Communion

Dear Father,

Thank You for a new day here!  This is another day to learn more from You.  This is another day of practicing trust.  Thank You for not giving up on me.  You are my Redeemer, my Comforter and my Best Friend.  I know this to be true and I am grateful.  This holds true even after all of these years of waiting for Great Change.  The season has come for us to prepare and go now.  A move is coming unless a miracle occurs.

We must let go of former things and start again.  Everything in this life is borrowed.  Everything is!  Everyone in our circle of family and friends are a special gift from You, Father, and a great treasure.  You know the number of our days and You assign them here for each of us to take hold of and surrender for Your Glory.  We are only here for a short while and for Your Kingdom purpose.

Each one of us has a Divine Purpose and a unique footprint here to make a difference and fight the good fight.  Each of us is to be a light for those falling into darkness.  I am reminded after reading the reports of the devastating flood that swept through several children’s Christian Camps at 4:00am on July 4, 2025 of just how precious time is here.  These little girls, 8-year-olds, in two cabins, had no time to escape the rising waters.

To be so terrified after waking suddenly and the stories are horrific.  I can’t imagine being a parent of one of these little ones.  This seems so senseless.  Even so, I am reminded that with You, Father, all of these tragedies, the losses of life, all have a purpose.  While I also know these little girls are with You, their families need comfort.

There were also many others who were swept away with very little warning… well, I pray that Your heavenly angels greeted them all and carried them into eternity.  Passing from this life into the next one comes to all of us.  It is just so difficult to be here and experience the great void of loss of our loved ones.  Joy can turn to sorrow so quickly.  It is then difficult to find that joy again with the heartaches.

I pray, Father, that to all those who have lost those closest to us that You would fill that void in our brokenness and make something beautiful from the wreckage.  Some of my losses can only be filled by You, Lord.  You are my Healer, my Reconciler and my Closest Friend.  Sometimes there are no words and nothing that can replace the loss of those we love.

Sometimes there are only memories – good and some not as great – but a journey we shared with them and You gave us this.  I have lost several friends recently and even two were precious Sparrows.  Over the years, at least 12 sparrows from all walks of life have been carried Home in Your arms.  The most difficult loss for me personally was that of a toddler.

I cried with her mother on the phone as she held her little one hoping You would bring a miracle and raise up this little one.  It was not to be and I felt so horrible that I couldn’t appeal to You.  My petitions and prayers were not answered the way I had believed.  I was angry at You, Father.  You reminded me that You are God over al things and this little one is healed and one day I will see her in Heaven.

Today has been declared as a day of prayer for the people of Texas.  Father, please grant some miracles and report some good news in the midst of the destruction.  You have a purpose for every life.  Please use us to shine a light, heal us and strengthen us.  We love You.

I had a vivid dream last night…

Sub-dream 1 “Nearly Dead Plants are Brought to Life ” begins…

I had gone to a plant nursery to purchase some plants.  I found some blooming flowering plants for the hummingbirds in our yard.  While I was checking out at the cashier, I saw two small potted plants that had been stripped of leaves and flowers and were even losing their green stalks.  I chuckled at the sign in front that read:

“Last Chance for These!”

Me:  “What is the story with these plants?”

Cashier:  “Ahh, a challenge!  Take them home and revive them and we will post your testimonial here.”

She then pointed up to a bulletin board with all of these dying plants that had been purchased by customers and miraculously came back from the dead.

Me:  “Wow, this is amazing.”

Cashier:  “The stories of revival here then wins some great prizes.  Are you up for the challenge?”

Me:  “Sure, why not?”

Cashier:  “These are truly at the end, so if you can bring these back to life then great will be your grand prize.”

I chuckled as I picked up one of the little plants.  All of them then suddenly turned brown-grey while I was standing there.

Me:  “Well, what if I can’t bring them back.”

Cashier:  “It does happen.  These were here because it is the last day before they go into the boneyard or plant pit that we use for mulch.  So, what do you think?  It is our last two that the nursery officially considers nearly living plants.”

Me:  “Okay, sure, I will do it!”

The cashier pulled out a camera and took photos of me with the plants and sent me on my way.  When I got home, I became determined that these plants would live.  However, after a few days of fertilizer, water and prayer, one of the plants never revived. However, instead of throwing this plant away, I placed it near the trash area.  I left it to God.  I “LET GO AND LET GOD”!

One week later the remaining plant was sprouting new leaves and, the next week, the leaves were turning yellow as more green ones came in.  While it even had some parasites that I had to treat, these were minor.  All in all, this took a great deal of determination and persistence as I still had only small signs of revival.  It was discouraging, but I decided after a while that all my hard work might be pointless.

One morning just a little while later, I went to the trash area and the plant I thought was dead had now come back to life.  I was in complete shock.  I now had two living plants left.  I picked the plant up and brought them next to each other.  I watered them again.  The very next morning when I went to check on them both, they were fully grown and healthy.  A true miracle!

Me:  “God, I am seeing amazing growth here!  I am not sure I had anything to do with this at all.  These two little dying stalks turned into lush bushes after I resigned them over to you.”

I then went to phone the nursery.  I suddenly woke up as my pillow fell off the bed.

Sub-dream 1 over…

I was laying in bed laughing about this plant dream.  I am not very patient, so this was very humorous to me.  As I laid on my pillow, I heard You three times, Father, tell me to remember and read Numbers 22.  I quickly fell back to sleep and had another dream…

Sub-dream 2 “The Angel and Some Warnings” begins…

I was walking down the road near our home.  I saw a man in the road ahead that I didn’t recognize as I turned back to my house.  When I turned, the man was right there in front of me.  I was now a bit startled.

Me:  “Who are you?”

The man then smiled at me as he suddenly changed into an angel of the Lord.  His face was so kind and his skin illuminated.

Angel:  “I have a message for you from the Lord.  It is important that You follow the Lord’s instructions exactly as the enemy has sent trouble.  However, the Lord has blessed you and your children.  Those who go another way are like rebels who defy God’s instructions.  They would rather cause others to sin than to bless them.

“They would even take it to beat their animals in defiance to the Living God.  Now, God is giving you specific instructions.  Follow these and great will be your blessing.  You need to know that someone close to you is like Balak and makes demands you cannot follow.  However, even worse, someone even closer is like Balaam.  However, you are not to worry as the Lord can Transform anyone.”

Me:  “I don’t understand?”

Angel:  “Then trust in the Lord and follow in His Ways.  Erin, you are not to negotiate with fools!”

The angel suddenly disappeared just as I woke up.

Sub-dream 2 over…

Father, please grant me wisdom and keep us from harm, in Jesus’ Name!

Jesus:  “Erin, come up!”

He once again spoke to me while I sat in my devotional chair.  His Voice was very clear.

Jesus:  “Erin, I am here and I am with you.  Erin, I am about to take you to the place of your heart here during this season (Bend OR).  You will be overjoyed.  I realize it seems impossible, but do not worry as I am the God of the Impossible.  Now, you will be removed from the land of the trees to the house I have prepared for you.

“Erin, your dream of plant revival actually means that I will plant you for revival and great will be your joy.  Your sons and daughter will also thrive there and great will be your works.  Do not worry.  Do not be afraid.  I have you.  I am over all you have.  I am over your property, your ministry and your very lives.  Do not worry as My Favor is with you.  You are greatly loved as is your Nest friends!”
