Dream 913 – “You Must Stand on Your Feet!”

Communion
Dear Father,
Thank You for another day here! Thank You for the wonderful weather and cool temperatures. It has made our tasks here more pleasant. Fall is in the air – we can feel it and smell it.
We had severe storms here last week. Friday the rain was torrential and came in waves of about 15-minute intervals. After each wave would come, I would say, “Lord, is this the last one?” Then another would come and another. I told my son, “This is a day of storms, let’s put off our errands for another day!” He agreed. So, we stayed and packed. I prayed and packed.
Father, You are my Bigger Picture God over all we know or see. Each day is filled with mysteries You unfold. I have watched You be gentle with me as I discover more and more. Days I have certain tasks planned, You take my day and instead fill it with more urgent tasks. I watched You care for us every step of the way. Miracle after miracle has unfolded. Each time we hit a massive roadblock it has been because You have a clearer way. So, each disappointment has actually been a blessing unfolding.
My sleep has become deeper and I have more energy upon waking hours. I should be in great pain right now physically, but You have allowed me to remain on my tasks. When I become exhausted and in great pain, You tell me to rest or redirect my focus! Thank You, Father, for Your great love. All the events we go through are for Your divine purposes.
I have had to learn a computer system I really don’t know. Navigate foreign laws and terminology I know very little about. Renew expired things. Pay bills I didn’t realize were there from accounts I didn’t know existed. I’m sure there had been very good reasons for all of this, but it doesn’t make it easy for me to navigate.
I’m thankful to You, Father, for sending help for our website – it had fallen into neglect and I had been locked out of it a long time ago. I’m grateful for my daughter and a member or two who You have sent to help, including our moderators and friends. We are so grateful!
I’m not sure what this week will bring as we have only a few more days to remove anything we plan to take with us. We are leaving the majority of everything behind. This will help sell the home if it’s staged, so this is good. My hope is that a new buyer would take everything or that it would all go to a good home. I’m letting go of my old devotional chair as well as the one I’ve been using for the last 8 years – it won’t make the trip without damage and it’s not worth it.
The Lord will provide the perfect place for us and He has already selected it so we wait on this because from my limited valley view, I see only a small apartment when He might see a house and tell me to bring the devotional chair.
After the last move 11 years ago, with so much destroyed or lost – it brings me relief and comfort to start fresh. God provides all we need in His timing and a few wants too!
In my dream last night, I found myself in a hallway of doors…
Sub-dream 1 “The Hallway of Opened Doors” begins…
Each door had a number on them. All of them were locked and there were no exit signs to leave. I was stuck in this narrow hall. It had fluorescent lighting which hummed and I hated being there. I tried every door handle hoping one would open and all were locked.
I became frustrated and panic began to set in. I dropped down in discouragement and sat there with my knees to my chest and head dropped.
Me: “Jesus, please help me. I’m alone here. I’m scared. What did I do, Lord? How did I get here? Help!”
I then heard the voice of an angel:
“Stand, Erin. All these doors will open to you. One right after the other – where all were once closed. God has heard your cries and He will now go quickly. You must stand on your feet!”
As I got up from my sitting position the first door to my right opened and a bright light shined through. I praised God. Then the next opened to my left, all in a zigzag pattern – right, left, right. I felt I was marching down the (corridor) – hall.
At the end of the hallway of doors was the exiting stairway – but it went up! Not down! It exited up!
Sub-dream 1 over…
I woke up peacefully. I had other dreams, but more about moving and boxing. Tapeing up things and tying them down for travel.
Night before last, I had a dream about a giant war shield…
Sub-dream 2 “Giant War Shield” begins…
This shield seemed like one that would be used by an ancient warrior – but it was the size of our house. I saw an enemy army moving in the woods only in dark shadows. From the trees these soldiers shot spears, daggers and arrows but could not penetrate this mighty shield. Not one of them broke through and hit our home.
After they had left, we walked out to the front lawn and there was a massive arsenal left behind in their discouragement. We looked up at the shield and it read in giant letters, “Veritas”.
Sub-dream 2 over…
I looked up what Veritas means – “verify”, “truth”, or “justice”. So, we will stand on Your Truth, Father, in all things.
Today after recalling this dream in particular You led me to Judges 7.
Gideon crept up to the edge of the enemy camp just as a man was telling his friend about a dream he had.
Judges 7:13-14 says,
“The man said, “I had this dream, and in my dream a loaf of barley bread came tumbling down into the Midianite camp. It hit a tent, turned it over, and knocked it flat!”
His companion answered, “Your dream can mean only one thing—God has given Gideon son of Joash, the Israelite, victory over Midian and all its allies!””
When Gideon heard the dream and its interpretation, He worshipped God. He returned to the camp of Israel and called out, “Get up! The Lord has given the Midianite camp into your hands!”
The Midianites had 135,000 fighting men, compared to Israel’s 30,000. But the Lord had Gideon reduce his fighting men to only 300. He allowed Gideon to overhear a Midianite man’s dream where God gave Israel the victory.
In a great turn of events based on this sign given to Gideon and his belief in God’s promises, Gideon divided the 300 into 3 companies, giving each man a trumpet and an empty clay jar with a burning torch inside.
While the enemy armies slept, the 3 companies of 100 Israelite men, surrounded the encampments and upon Gideon’s signal, blew their trumpets, smashed their jars, held up their torches and shouted, “A sword for the Lord and for Gideon!”
In confusion and fear, the Midianite army attacked each other and fled. God gave Israel victory.
This story is one of my favorites of His Story! Thank You, Father, for Your promises.
(Note: When Jesus doesn’t say, “Erin, come up”, it means that Erin is not going up to Heaven to speak with Jesus – He is speaking with her while she is in the devotional room. That is why Jesus is saying, “I am here”, instead. If she goes up to Heaven to speak, it will contain, “Erin, come up”.)
Jesus: “I am here, Erin. I am with you. I have promised you good things here and in your eternal home with Me and those you love. This has not changed. Though events are unfolding in an unexpected way for you – to Me they are no surprise as I knew what was to come. I allowed this.
“You are not to live your life in fear and hiding. You are instead to live free and under My care. I did not give you the spirit of fear. I prepared you for this season you are in right now. It is I who send you signs and wonders. It is I who reveals which was concealed. I allow free will in a man. Each one has the choice each day to say, ‘This way is God’s, I will walk in this’.
“My way is easy and My load, your burden – is light for Me. When you trust in Me to carry you – then trust that I will take you on your best way. I don’t take you on the way of sin. I don’t say, “This is the sinful way and it’s fun, let’s walk together in this”. I promise you I don’t walk that way.
“But if a man persists in this, then I allow them to walk alone with those whose company best satisfies their desires. Those which I and My angel army are at war with. However, if a man then realizes that his way is not a good way, then I will hear his cries and I will send help. I will send angels to show him what is good. But he must recognize his sin, his rebellion, and humble himself with a contrite heart. It is through sincere repentance that the heart is healed. I am able to do a good work in that man. Understand?”
Me: “I’m sorry, Lord. I …”
Jesus: “Erin, for now there was a fork in the road. I called you by My own voice into the unknown. I said, ‘Erin, this is the way, walk in it’. Your husband went another way. Looking back, you see that there was an entirely different path he had traveled which didn’t include Me or you.
“For now, I will take you to the place of your heart and there I will return your joy and peace. There I will reveal more of My mysteries. You will have a church family of friends and you will sing and dance like you did in your youth. Day by day I will bring you back to life. I will also bless all of your children, and great will be their joy.
(Note: When Jesus mentions, “all of your children”, He emphasized ‘all’. so that while reading, you will know that the Lord includes her stepchildren as her children also.)
“Now, do not worry about how this will come to be or why this has been. All of this will come to light and the truth shall set you free. I will increase your gifts of the Spirit and you will have dreams and visions and you will only have a fear of the Lord, not man. Do you trust Me to carry you?”
Me: “Lord, I know only You can. Only You know every door and only You can open a door no one can open and shut a door no one can shut. All glory be to You, Lord, in all things. I have no idea what any of this looks like but You already have everything in place. I love You, Lord. Strengthen us and keep us. Use us for Your glory. Especially when this doesn’t seem like a glorious situation.
“Please protect us from harm and look after all of our affairs. Please let all things be for Your glory, not our own. Keep curses away from us and let no evil assignments come against us with any success. In Your Name, Jesus.”
Jesus: “It is done. Do not worry. Do not be afraid. Do all things with an upright heart and fervor and watch Me deliver you. I will fulfill My promises. Keep your eyes fixed on Me. I love you.”
