Dream 864 – Do not relax and revel in great victory

Dear Father,
Thank You for another day here. My dream last night left me with many questions. Each day here is a mystery that I am so grateful for. However, on some days, I wonder of what value I am to You, Father? What have I personally done? I know I am a ‘Dreamer & Scribe’, but this is a gift from You that waits for the day I am able to see the impact of this in greater measure.
This morning, I was looking for a specific golf photo from the 1980s (a time when all I did and thought about was this sport). I had such big dreams and grand ambitions. However, almost 90% of these hopes and dreams were never realized. While I wasn’t a Christian at that time, I still prayed. Golf is just one of the many closed doors in my life.
While I spent a few years as a Christian helping others realize their dreams and potential in Jesus, tragedy then struck me personally and I could not recover. I then released all of me to You, Father. Often when I am in pain, I wonder about my purpose here. I think today is one of those pain days.
This morning, I was looking through a small box of photos and letters from forty years ago. Most of them were dated November 10th, including the years 1986 and 1987 and a bunch from 1990 to 2001. This reoccurring November 10th date seemed quite odd to me. While I am not sure what any of this means, these letters were written by people I never stayed in contact with.
Our lives had taken different turns and our time of significance here on Earth as acquaintances had ended. It seemed that my life story had closed some chapters and turned other pages. I am so glad to still be here, Father. I am so thankful to You for Your Grace and Mercy concerning me. I surrendered all of me to You and I know that, through You, I can accomplish anything that You desire to work through me.
Lord, it was Your Will and by Your Purpose that I do not have many physical capabilities right now, but especially since my fall on May 8, 2014. While this is hard, I trust You with all that I can give You and I pray it is worthy.
It has been fun to see You line up the new government in the USA. I pray that You would protect them and Your Will be done through them to set up the greatest revival and harvest of souls the world has ever known. But, Father, my dream revealed trouble coming from offshores and from within when there is peace… or at least there is the illusion of ‘peace and security’.
Jesus: “Erin, come up!”
He once again spoke to me while I sat in my devotional chair. His Voice was very clear.
Jesus: “Erin, I am here and I am with you. It is easy to look back and see unrealized hopes and dreams. Instead, think of this… I made you to endure and testify to running the race of endurance.”
Note: I then looked up the definition of endurance. The definition of endurance is to hold one’s ground in conflict, bear up against adversity, hold out under stress, stand firm, persevere under pressure, wait calmly and courageously. In a commentary: It is not passive resignation or mere patience, but the active, energetic resistance in possible defeat that allows calm and brave endurance.
Me: “Lord, I don’t feel I have been enduring patiently. I don’t always feel I have been good at this.”
Jesus: “Erin, when you could not endure on your own, I carried you. I picked you up and brought you through great troubles. I did not drop you. I did not let you be defeated. Do you think I did all of this with you for no purpose under Heaven? Remember that I do not make mistakes.
“Now, I know you have not realized your hopes and dreams. You then stopped believing for great things in your own life and instead prayed for your children and your friends and their dreams to be realized. While this is a good thing, I am not finished with you yet. You have not realized what I have planned for you and, when you do, you will be speechless.
“What I have done with you in the meantime is I gave you the heart to endure troubles of all kinds. Nothing the adversary has come against you with has succeeded. Why? This is because you have kept your sights fixed on Me and what I am doing in dismal circumstances. You can see beyond the horizon, above the massive enemy army sent to advance against you, all to seek Me first.
“There have been so many times in which you have faced troubles beyond your abilities to fight. You then look up to the hills, My Mountain, to search for help from Me. Your help has always come from Me as I made Heaven and Earth. I will not let the enemy move you nor your foot to be tripped by a stone. I never sleep. I am your Keeper and Shelter and it is I who keep you from all enemy assignments.
“Erin, I will keep your life. I will watch over you in your daily goings out and your comings in, from this time now and forever. I am with you. I have never forgotten you. Not once. You have taken up My Call in your life and you have continued to endure even when you were tired and had little strength.
“Many before you gave up when they did not see My use for them and their promises had not yet been realized. However, I have brought you this far and I haven’t even begun the plans I have for you. Erin, can you continue to endure with Me a bit longer?”
Me: “Lord, what else would I do? I have promised to stay with You. I have learned to stand firm when You say, ‘Stand!’ I have learned to hold on to You when You say, ‘Don’t let go!’ I have learned to hope when all seems hopeless. I love You. I surrender all to You. I can’t stop pursuing You.”
Jesus: “Very good, Erin. Great endurance is needed on a rocky and steep path. I am with you and I will not leave you.”
Me: “Thank You, Lord!”
Jesus: “Now, the army of the enemy and all their hoards of demons are now aware that My angel army stopped their plans to bring in their ruler by the vote of the people. The win was much greater as they had used deceitful practices to overthrow many of the results. Even though they failed, they are still working to destroy what I have set up. They have called upon other countries who are enemies of God to stand against My Authority.
“The people are excited to see My plans reverse the great evil that has harmed the nation once dedicated to Me. This is the moment in which your prayers avail much. Do not relax and revel in great victory as assuredly then troubles come and many would be taken by surprise. Pray and do not cease.
“Erin, your adversaries are My adversaries. Pray like Elijah and Elisha that My miracles, signs and wonders would be on full display. Remember, Erin… for it is I who changes the times and the seasons. It is I who deposes kings and raises up others.”
Me: “You also grant wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning (Daniel 2:21).”
Jesus: “Then understand this… even though the enemy is quiet, they have not been subdued. They plot in secret.”
Me: “I can’t know their plots, but You do, Lord. Strike down their evil and continue to obstruct their plans so we can enjoy a great victory. All of this is because You are good and Your Mercy endures forever.
“Lord, please continue to endure in Mercy and Grace! Please bring in Revival and the Harvest. Please hold back the wicked. Let Your Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. Thank You. Bless You, Lord, in all of Your Works. You have lifted our eyes to the hills to see Your Mighty Army!”
When rereading the above, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11 came to mind regarding the upcoming Day of the Lord…
1Now concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need to have anything written to you. 2For you yourselves are fully aware that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. 5For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness. 6So then let us not sleep, as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober. 7For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night. 8But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. 9For God has not destined us for wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10who died for us so that whether we are awake or asleep we might live with him. 11Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
