Communion

Dear Father,

Thank You for another day! I’m still here to live and breathe and I’m thankful. I’m grateful for the safe place You have brought us to. It’s beautiful here–the snow-capped cascade mountain range is so majestic and praiseworthy. Praise You, Father, for this incredible sight.

I’m back to having more dreams and so very grateful for deep sleep again!

I had an interesting dream night before last…

Sub-dream 1 “The Avalanche” begins…

I was driving alone in my car in what seemed like a mountainous area of British Columbia or Alberta, Canada, I’m not sure. It was a beautiful sunny day with bright blue skies. The road had been winding and it was a narrow 2-lane highway. My daughter was following close behind me in her car and we lost cell service.

There was some sort of flash in time or something I can’t describe, but in front of me suddenly on the same highway there were police officers or RCMP directing traffic around a huge snow drift in the road.

To my left were two white bears–they looked like brown bears, only white. One had a bloody underbelly–they were not polar bears. They seemed disoriented and struggling to stand on their four legs. Then, to my right was a massive brown bear staggering as it walked and appeared as if it were drunk.

As I drove around the white mound of snow, in the middle of the road there was what looked like a mound of light brown long grass with mud. As I began to navigate around this, it began to move. It was a some sort of long haired bear I had never seen before. It was half dead.

The officers were directing cars to a type of Amtrack station near the road. I couldn’t tell if it was a border crossing or train station. An officer motioned for me to roll down my window.

Officer:  “There was an avalanche so we are asking for those of you who made it through to come inside the station to warm up a bit and register your name as a survivor.”

Me:  “My daughter is somewhere behind me in her car.”

Officer:  “Ma’am we will look for her–go inside and pray she made it through.”

I rolled up my window, parked my car and went inside. There were several people there. There were rows of wood benches which looked like church pews or train station benches. People were praying.

Just then, my daughter walked in. I was so glad to see her, I jumped up to hug her.

The officers remarked that this was a miracle.

Last night’s dream…

Sub-dream 2 “The Wheat Field & The Wind” begins…

I was standing in a wheat field or at least observing a wheat field from that position. There were mountains surrounding the field. The sky was bright blue and the wheat stood strong in the field.

Then I saw a figure in the distance. It was Jesus praying over the wheat. He then lifted His arms to His side, outstretched over the wheat field. The wheat shifted back and forth and appeared to remain strong.

Then the breeze became a steady wind and the wheat began to bend slightly in one direction. Then came a stronger wind, and dust rose from the soil. Much of the wheat became broken from the stem and even some heads of wheat had broken off.

Then an even greater wind came. Wave after wave of winds swept through this once peaceful wheat field. The dust was flying and I couldn’t see the wheat in the wind storm. Then suddenly I saw the Lord drop His arms down to His side. The wind storm blew over, but the devastation was remarkable. It was difficult to understand what I had seen.

I cried out–

Me:  “Lord, why did You bring such damage to Your wheat field? All I see are broken stems and dirt.”

Jesus:  “The wheat lodges with Me.”

Me:  “What does this mean, Lord?”

Jesus:  “Do you not understand what you see?”

Me:  “No, Lord.”

Jesus:  “You see devastation because you have seen the hands of God bring the wind. This was a testing for the resilience of the wheat. This is good. Look.”

Just then I saw some wheat begin to straighten up. Thousands of them. But still many were gone.

Jesus:  “Usually the youngest wheat is the strongest. The taller and more mature wheat is the easiest to break off at the head when storms come. In this field I tested both the growth of the mature wheat and young wheat. It did not matter the age as some remained resilient despite the storms and battering, and some did not.”

Me:  “So, You are testing us still, Lord?”

Jesus:  “Erin, it takes the glory of God to conceal a matter and the honor of kings to search it out. Look at this wheat and understand.”

I looked across this vast field and the heads of wheat which remained appeared like cut gold, crystal or metallic in the glory of the Lord’s light.

Me:  “This is beautiful, Lord.”

Jesus:  “Changes are coming… I have prepared you. I have kept you through the storms. I have preserved your life. Though your burdens have been great, I have taken these. My shoulders are strong and My burden, light. I have sustained you and have not let you fall. The sorrow of your heart is great as you survey the aftermath of your loss–but do not stay in this state. I will make things brand new. Do you not see it, Erin?

“You are Mine. I will never leave you. The former things have passed away, so behold, I make all things new! Now it springs forth! Now is the time and season to embrace these changes and have peace with where I have brought you! Be strong in Me and take courage! I am with you!”

I then saw a flash of light. The wheat which remained strong and shimmering towered above the new wheat as it sprung up in the field. The new wheat was green and through this storm the wheat field of the Lord expanded and became strong!

Sub-dream 2 over…

I woke up to a noise on my phone but knew I had to write this immediately!

Thank You, Father for dreams and visions–these are a blessing and so many of Your saints are in storms. It is good to know You are with us!

Jesus:  “Erin, I am here. Remember that I am here through these difficult storms. Though you are exhausted and weak, I promise you change and healing is coming. I love you and I am here. Continue to pray. Rest when I call you to rest. Rise when I call you to rise. Walk when I call you to walk. Understand? Listen for My still small voice.”

Me:  “I will, Lord. Sometimes You whisper and sometimes You speak loudly.”

Jesus:  “This is so you hear Me through all things–listen and hear. I am here, Erin. Be of great courage. Be not afraid. I will carry you.”
