Communion

Dear Father,

Thank You for another day here! Thank You for Your love, affection and grace! Thank You for Your life-giving words! Thank You for loving us when we are in rebellion. Your love is unconditional and such a gift.

The Earth is our battlefield, but really, Yours, Father! We are your Bride waiting in the bridal chamber. It is time to look at the original Jewish bridal practices as clearly everything You do has order and deep meaning to You. Please reveal to us, Father, anything which we have overlooked so we can be ready and wise, not unaware and foolish. You know hearts. You seek us and search us. Please reveal to us, Father, hidden things which need to be reconciled!

This weekend I revisited the steps to forgiveness. I spent a few hours releasing people from my heart prison. What this entailed is me physically holding skeleton keys and unlocking the prison doors. Each person who was sitting on a block in my heart cell was waiting for me–the prison guard–to open the door and release them. I called each one by name and walked with them up the stairs and into the light. I released them from the things they had done to me and in the vision, each instant they thanked me and I sent them off to God’s care and asked God to bless them. In many of these, the people in my heart prison had passed away, so it needed to happen. I cried and cried as I recalled all that had happened with each one–over one hundred of them–wow!

But now, I am free as I have sent them all to God as He is the Judge, not me! Many of these offenders had lived rent-free in the real estate of my headspace, blocking my abilities to live in full freedom! When Jesus said, “this is how you should pray”, in Matthew 6:9-13 and Luke 11:2-4, there are so many clues in this, it is divine. As the Bride, we must not just memorize it, but memorialize this, etching it on our heart. It packs everything in!

I might have spoken about this many times, but my grandparents took us to church when we were little during our visits to Nevada. I don’t recall ever hearing a call to salvation there, but I remember clearly the “acts of communion”, and the song from the song book, “When the Saints Go Marching In”. But what was really amazing, I memorized the Lord’s Prayer somehow! It was this tiny Methodist church in Reno, Nevada, where I learned these miraculous gifts from God. These stayed with me for all these years and this was etched in me. Even when my heart was as stone–these were chiseled in!

What is the Lord’s Prayer? The order is important as well as the key words.

First address: “Our Father, God…”–over all things He created us and knows us. Praise Him in gratefulness!

Second: “Who is in Heaven…”–recognizing He is over us here and in eternity, He is established! Since He is our Father and He is over all things from here to eternity, then too, we are His children and we are heirs of God on Earth as we are in Heaven.

Third:Your Kingdom come, Your will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven…”–Then we plead that God’s Kingdom comes to us, be in us, and be visible on Earth all around us in beauty and majesty. That He would come for us along with His angelic army and reign in our hearts, minds, soul and spirit. We are also laying down our will and way for God’s will and way since He is over us and He knows all things past, present, and future! Since He loves us and we are His children, then we must trust His will is better than our way! Our way leads away from God!

Fourth:Give us this day, our daily bread…”–God provides all things. Even when we have very little provision–money, food, water, etc. If we surrender what we have, even if it’s very little, He will take this and multiply it back to us–leaving us satisfied and knowing He will never leave us begging for food (Psalm 37:25). But not just meeting our needs for physical daily needs–He feeds us through His Word. He fills our vessels with Living Water and the Bread of Life! His provision sustains us in this life as we meditate on His daily Word and provisions–He feeds us!

Fifth: “And forgive us our debts, as we have also forgiven our debtors…”–Forgive us our sins, trespasses, debts against You and others. This is huge! Forgive those who have trespassed against us! Matthew 18:21-35. Because God has forgiven us an unplayable debt, we must forgive others from our hearts! There is a great warning here and in Matthew 6:15, which He emphasizes many times in His Word–the need to forgive others and even ourselves!

Sixth: “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil”–We are asking the Father to please not test us beyond what we are able to be delivered from, or better yet, maybe no temptation entirely would be great so we don’t have to be subject to evil at all. Although this is only an ask, because a loving Father does gauge His children with temptations as a measure of our abilities to fight off the attacks. The order of this line is interesting to me because it also seems to be a pattern.

So, after we have forgiven out trespassers or debtors–their debts and trespasses against us–we seem to be free and clear, our home swept. But then Jesus reminds us in Matthew 12:43-45 and Luke 11:24-26 about the person who cleans up his home without filling it fully with Jesus. Those who do the work to cast out the evil spirits but don’t fully commit it to the Lord leave an opening for the return of not just the one evil spirit but the seven others more wicked to move into the spiritually vacant place!

So, now it continues in Matthew 6:14 with a blessing…

“For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you,”

And again in Matthew 6:15, with a warning…

“But if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.”

To finish the Lord’s Prayer: “For Thine is the Kingdom, for Thine is the power and glory forever and ever, amen.”

Start by revering God and His authority, and end by blessing Him and praising Him!

When the Saints Go Marching In

(Chorus)

When the saints go marching in,

when the saints go marching in.

Lord, I want to be in that number

when the saints go marching in.

I’m waiting for the Chariot

To swing low and I’ll step in,

On the clouds I’ll ride to Heaven,

When the saints go marching in

(Repeat chorus)

Glory, Glory, Hallelujah (The John Rutter arrangement is best)

Father, You have shown us what is good. What do You require of us? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with our Lord, God! (Micah 6:8)

Sub-dream 1 “The Ostrich and the Deer” begins…

I had been staying in a hotel room with a roommate. It was our last day there and since we had been staying there awhile, there was quite a bit to pack. As I went about my business I was suddenly startled by an ostrich running down the hallway.

I told my roommate I was going outside to alert others that this 9-foot tall bird was on the loose inside. My roommate was unfazed by this bizarre occurrence and continued to pack. Several of us were chasing the bird out the main doors so it wouldn’t get hurt or hurt others. It made so much noise.

When it left the building, it ran into some tall light brown grass and stared at us, making squawking sounds.

We seemed to be in a very arid place. As we walked back to our room, I heard another tenant say, “Dumb bird, has no wings, complains constantly, brings all the attention to it self and even abandons its eggs in the open fields. Why this bird?”

“Why is it even called a bird?” Someone else chimed in. We all laughed and went back to our rooms to pack.

My roommate complained that I was chasing wingless birds down hallways and not helping to get packed. I said nothing, then began to pack my things.

Just then, a deer ran into the room and jumped on my bed in front of me. It was distressed and panting.

Me:  “I need to get you some water.”

My roommate was upset, “Ignore that, pack!”

I looked around the room and realized there was nothing I even wanted to pack or take with me.

Me:  “I don’t care about this stuff. I’m ready to go. I’m only gathering up things so I don’t leave the place a mess. Are you seeing this right now? There is a thirsty deer panting and needs our help!”

My roommate didn’t care. I filled the bathtub with some water and the deer went into the water to soak and drink to cool down. It stepped out, then leaped over the bed through the door. I chased it down the hall out of the front door and into the field. There it looked at me and went up on a rock outcropping.

I went back to my room. My roommate had left without me.

I gathered up my things and went to check out. The front desk clerk told me there was no fee for my lengthy stay because I helped out with the various animals and birds that came in as they were short staffed. They were very kind.

As I was leaving, several others from various rooms joined me together to walk to the train station. We sang and were happy about all that God had done. At one point we had a detour which led us on a scary road, but we were all together. The detour was ridiculous and seemed unnecessary but we stayed together. We saw the station ahead and we all cheered.

Sub-dream 1 over…

Me:  “What did that all mean?”

Jesus:  “I am here. I’m with you. Erin, your roommate was busy doing things to serve their own “self”-interests then spoke curses over you for helping what was literally a visible issue. What this dream revealed was the ostrich–a wingless bird, large and rebellious–is like a distraction to turn others away from their calling.

“In this dream, the bird–an unclean bird–was creating a commotion and needed to be released to the field. It was a disruption causing the attention of My people to be distracted from their destiny. You recognized it was a problem, along with the others, and chased it outside where it continued to call you from the field. Once removed, you continued your task, when suddenly a deer who was thirsty ran into your room. Your reaction was to help, but your roommate ignored this.”

Me:  “In Your Word, Psalm 42:1, ‘As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God’.”

Jesus:  “You assessed the room and realized that none of what was around you mattered. But the deer needed water. Panting means what?”

Me:  “Well, the deer came into the room and then went on my bed, where I had gathered items to pack. It was desperate and needed water.”

Jesus:  “It came to you because it knew that you would see it in distress and help. It was parched and desperate. So, there are three types of people who I will send you to. This was a spiritual dream.

“The ostrich represents an unclean bird with wings but no ability to fly. It makes noise, is rebellious and big. These are people who are foolish by their displays. They draw attention, but dwell in dry places. They even leave their eggs wide open as they are uncaring and neglect what God has given them. Their eyes are larger than their brains.

“Your roommate was an example of My church today! They turn a blind eye to what is right in front of them and continue to pack up useless things. They even try to argue with you and engage you in a senseless battle of curses. Erin, did you see your roommate en route to the train station?”

Me:  “No, when I come to think about it…”

Jesus:  “Because they are like the ostrich–they neglected the egg of My Word. Your roommate was fixated on the task at hand only. Packing up useless things to travel to nowhere. Anyone who knows My Word and refuses to look around and see the various signs I send and refuses to notice them is no different than someone who buries their face in the sand.

“Then there is the panting deer. The deer knew you were Mine because My Spirit was and is upon you. It was desperate and thirsty and you calmed it and refreshed it with new life. It even leaped over your bed. This is good. You then set it free. It didn’t squawk or complain, it looked at you and then it had strength to scale the mountain. That is because My Spirit was in you to heal.

“I removed the bitter, jealous roommate, Erin, but this was an example of what or how many preachers will react when My Spirit is upon those I call to the Station. They will work to send roadblocks and obstacles. Do you know why I flipped the tables of the moneychangers in front of the Temple?”

Me:  “It was because they were conducting commerce in God’s courts of the Temple?”

Jesus:  “Not just this, the moneychangers gave pagan coins in exchange for Jewish coins as payment. It was evil in the sight of God. These silver coins were acceptable but their silver root was in Baal worship. It made the courts unclean, but profitable and acceptable to the Pharisees.”

Me:  “So, the Roman coins were unacceptable and instead the Jewish coin of silver was acceptable?”

Jesus:  “You can research this, but the coin from Tyre was evil. Erin, go to the root and understand who governs and what the war was in the heavenlies, the roots are in the fallen. Doors open when sins are in the wide open for the fallen to return.”

Me:  “It’s widespread everywhere now, Lord. The fallen are here now. Based on the increase in evil.”

Jesus:  “Yes, but understand this, it is finished, the battle is won. Victory is Mine. Understand? But this act at the Temple of flipping tables awakened the beginning of woes.”

Me:  “It did, Lord–2000 years of woes.”

Jesus:  “Remember, I am God over all things. Do not be afraid. I am here with you. I will equip you. I will strengthen you. The playbook of the enemy has a pattern and is not difficult to detect. Come to Me because from My vantage point you will see it. Pray and it will be answered, knock and the door shall be opened to you. Do not worry. Be strong and take courage.”
